The Zahir is the opposite of the Aleph. Instead of allowing someone to see all of space and time, all of creation itself, the Zahir causes a person to become more and more obsessed with a single object, until that object is all they can think about. That object becomes their world. As someone once wrote: "I shall pass from thousands of apparatitions to one alone: from a very complex dream to a very simple one. Others will dream that I am mad, and I shall dream of the Zahir. And when everyone on earth thinks of the Zahir day and night, which will be a dream and which a reality, the earth or the Zahir?"
The Zahir will lead to the shadow of the Rose and the rending of the veil.
The Others are related to the Zahir.
The Aleph is the opposite of the Zahir.
