In Timeline-B, Ezekiel Roth dies of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Consequently, his parents are stalked by the Pallid Man and go on the run with their other son Albert. Albert suffers from an accident at age thirteen and nearly dies. When he wakes up, he begins an obsession with the Aleph.
